Private or group rides
Whether you want to live a private experience or enjoy it with your friends, this is a unique and different adventure in the middle of nature.
At the gates of Doñana
La Cabriola Equestrian Club is located in the municipality of La Puebla del Río, at the gates of the Doñana National Park where we find places of unique beauty to enjoy on horseback.
This privileged location in the lands of Doñana, allows us to develop the widest range of walks and routes along trails and ravines where we can enjoy a wide variety of fauna and flora.
Our environment is also home to a natural reserve of great beauty: the Dehesa de Abajo, a natural area of immense ecological wealth that has the largest colony of white storks in Europe.
Horse riding in this area is a real privilege.
Discover its different landscapes
Discover on horseback all the surroundings of the provinces of Seville, Huelva and Cadiz.
Our route will take you through the spectacular Sierra Norte de Sevilla, the Camino del Rocío or the Sierra de Cádiz.
You will experience peaceful sunsets while riding along almost virgin routes and trails, discovering its different landscapes of ancient forests, mythical pastures, colourful countryside and marshes full of life.
A unique biosphere reserve
Our routes take place in the northern part of the Doñana National Park, where through its different landscapes of pine forests, scrubland, marshes and rice fields we can enjoy a great diversity of flora and fauna.
In 1980, Doñana was declared a Biosphere Reserve by UNESCO and a World Heritage Site since 1994, home to unique species such as the Iberian imperial eagle and the Iberian lynx.
Thanks to its privileged geographical location between Europe and Africa and its proximity to the Atlantic and the Mediterranean, our environment is a year-round passage, breeding and wintering place for more than 300 different species of aquatic and terrestrial, European and African birds.
Through the marshes of the Guadalquivir River
The Guadalquivir “El Rio Grande” offers us memorable routes full of life and history. Its millenary course has seen the flourishing of civilizations and peoples such as Iberians, Phoenicians, Tartessians, Romans and Andalusians.
On our route we can walk along its course, through its rice fields and marshes that are a unique landscape of great beauty with an area of more than 2,000 km².
We will see how some of the hundreds of species of birds pass through and winter in the cork oak groves. This explosion of life is one of the best known images of the marshland area in Doñana.
Its people, gastronomy and much more
Andalusia has been a reference point in the world of horses since ancient times and is the birthplace of the “purebred Spanish” or “Andalusian” horse.
Getting to know Andalusia on horseback means getting to know it from its roots through remote villages and ancestral landscapes, living a unique experience where riding, nature and adventure go hand in hand.
Our routes will take you to discover wonderful and unique corners of the provinces of Seville, Huelva and Cadiz full of cultural richness, gastronomy and nature.
How do we work?
With more than 15 years of experience, our way of working is characterised by establishing communication between horse and rider, as well as the confidence necessary to obtain the best performance from the pairing.
At La Cabriola we take care of our horses and guarantee the best conditions to ensure their well-being.
All of the horses at our school have been broken in by our team. They are perfectly qualified to adapt to the level of the rider, from three year olds to riders looking to perfect their technique.
